The crane was placed directly over the shaft with ease due to the versatility of the base. The duct was raised from five floors below without additional time-consuming rigging. Everyone who used the EZ Rig crane was impressed with the time they saved and the increased safety, eliminating the need to climb high ladders to attach overhead rigging devices. The rigging cranes were also used at UCLA Medical Center and many other jobsites.
