Client: Pat Hatton, Cement Mason
Pat Hatton, a cement mason from San Diego needed a rigging tool to set 400 pound sectional pre-cast ornamental concrete off of the side of an exterior museum building roof. A large crane could not be positioned properly, and no other rigging device could reach out and over the building or the target from the ground. The small crane was able to position over the edge of the building fromthe top, utilizing the counterweight system. The small crane was used for lifting concrete sections, completing the job safely and quickly. The general contractor was so impressed with the mini crane’s abilities, he used the small crane unit to handle and set valuable statues on the interior of the museum building.
